From October 14 to15, a delegation of 5 members headed by President Kee Sun Ham from Hanseo University visited Chuzhou University, accompanied by Chen Xianzhong, the Director of Provincial People's Political Consultative Conference as well as Administration of Compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and those residing abroad and Foreign Affairs Committee and Geng Zunfang, the Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Provincial Education. Chuzhou University’s leaders Yu Zaisui, Qiu Ke, Wu Congyun, Xu Zhicai, Ni Yang and Wang Xiangshui warmly received the delegation.

Hanseo University is located in Seosan City, southwest of Korea, which was founded in 1991. It is a comprehensive private university which has six colleges (Humanities and Social Science, Science, Engineering, Aeronautical Studies, Arts, Health Science), and 49 departments (English Department, Chinese Department, Department of Mathematics, Department of Chemistry, Biology Department, Department of Computer and Information, Department of Security and Secretarial Services, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Department of Flight Operation, Department of Air Tourism and Service, Department of Interior Design, Department of Directing for Film and Television, Department of Fashion Design, Department of Music, etc.). There are more than 8,000 students in Hanseo University. In 2005,  Hanseo University and Chuzhou University became "sister university."

On the conference of cooperation and exchange, CPC committee member as well as Vice President Xu Zhicai, Ni Yang briefed President Kee Sun Ham and his delegation on the Chuzhou University’s development and cooperation between the two universities in recent years. Since the formation of sister university, two schools have carried out exchanges of visits between top leaders, art works exhibition of teachers and students and art symposium. Chuzhou University has sent more than 20 teachers and students to study for bachelor and master's degree in Hanseo University. Hanseo University hired a teacher from Chuzhou University to teach Chinese, Chuzhou University also employed a teacher from Hanseo University to work for the Korean training center. Up to now, more than 200 students have attended the Korean training center.

Both sides believed that the past cooperation and exchanges have strongly promoted the international development of the two universities, but that was still far from enough. The next step is to further expand and deepen cooperation and seek common development on cooperative education of bachelor level, academic exchanges and exchanges of teachers and management staff, etc. The two sides had a heated discussion on further cooperation. President Kee Sun Ham said that both Chuzhou and Chuzhou University saw great development over the past two years and hoped that Chuzhou University could be a long term cooperative partner of Hanseo University. In addition, he also introduced the management system and present situation of Hanseo University. Some leaders from Foreign Affairs Office, Academic Affairs Office and Department of Chinese and so on also took part in the conference.

Other delegation members included Director of External Cooperation Lee, Byeon Gwok and professor of Chinese Department as well as Minister of International Education Office Kim, JinYuh and Minister of Academic Affairs Office Kim, Yong Seok and the teacher from Overseas Students’ Management Lee Lun Seo.
